I chose to illustrate Roald Dahl's collection of stories (including "Henry Sugar") for my book cover assignment. Instead of a narrative piece, I created a visual that represents the swaths of cotton wrapped around Henry Sugar's face to prevent him from seeing with his eyes.

This abstracted sequence tells a story about McDonald's. The first tile shows their current marketing messages, radiating out from the iconic golden arches. The second depicts a consumer's addiction to fast food, contrasted with their knowledge of the toll it's taking on their health. The third tile shows the health consequences in extreme situations, and the fourth takes goes one step further to say that this fast food chain is not only detrimental to our health, but to our planet as well.
