This Personal Mythology deconstructs the Shell gas logo. The logo originally looked even more shell-like, and the four pieces of my mythology employ a few of the different logo's. There are various degrees of deconstruction in this piece. It goes from Shell oil meaning simply gas, to then it meaning power, to then it meaning pollution. It is told through a story of stopping at a gas station and driving to key west and shows what happens to the oil throughout the scenes. The oil is depicted in orange.
