This book cover was designed to give you a sense of where this book (The Host by Stephenie Meyer) takes place. Used Illustrator pen tool, brushes and textures.

In-Class Illustration

I first sketched the image then scanned and brought in to Illustrator where I live traced it and cleaned it up. I then used a brown - green gradient to give it color and filled the leaves in.

Bitmap Font

This bitmap font, a decorative typeface is called "Squarez." It is made out of hundreds of little tiny squares.

This coffee table book uses light colors and a clean design to showcase the food photography.

Magazine Spread

This magazine spread uses a simple design to showcase many different restaurants in Miami that have been around for over 20 years. It's a "guide to dining old miami style."

This was designed to represent me as a person, inspired by my personality traits. It could be used in many personal identity projects including a business card.

This newspaper design was inspired by an award-winning layout. The article describes the culture (and food) one acquires after traveling abroad. It is very clean and colorful.

This personal mythology describes the Starbucks brand and how environmentally friendly it is using typography and the brand logo.
