Female Pedestrian

This installation was created to reflect how I feel when physically objectified by lewd "cat calls." Sewing, a traditionally female medium was used to illustrate a lack of

change or progress in terms of unwanted attention. The sewing style was inspired by Ghada Amer’s linear illustrations and type.
